Cleaner fish

Cleaner fish are used as a biological control measure in the fight against sea lice in the aquaculture industry. About 60 million lice eating species, bred and wild-caught, are released annually into Norwegian fish farming cages. Stembiont™ improves fish health in cleaner fish similarly to salmon by making fish robust through natural and sustainable microbial reinforcement, and our research and that of others shows that these marine species benefit (and are diseased) by the same bacterial species as the salmon. The most important thing we do is give fish a good start and reduce the negative effects from putting a fish with a poor condition at sea.
